Directions to the Race

PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD VIA NOTLEY ROAD, EVEN IF THAT'S THE WAY GOOGLE MAPS SENDS YOU.  NOTLEY ROAD WILL BE CLOSED OFF AS PART OF THE RACE ROUTE AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH!  PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS INSTEAD:

From the south (DC & Virginia):
  • Take the Beltway to New Hampshire Avenue
  • Take New Hampshire north
  • Pass Randolph and Bonifant Roads
  • Turn left on Stonegate Drive 
  • Park at the Stonegate Swim Club or along Centergate, Watergate, or Redgate and walk up Stonegate to Notley Road for start

From Rockville & points west:
  • Take Randolph Road east to New Hampshire Avenue [GO PAST NOTLEY ROAD - DON'T TURN ON TO NOTLEY SINCE IT WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE RACE AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH!]
  • Take New Hampshire north
  • Turn left on Stonegate Drive 
  • Park at the Stonegate Swim Club or along Centergate, Watergate, or Redgate and walk up Stonegate Road to Notley Road and turn left to the school for start

Please note: parking is extremely limited and you cannot park on the race route so please carpool or walk!

If you live in the neighborhood, please walk if possible or park your car in a neighbor's driveway.  If you are coming from outside the neighborhood, come into the neighborhood from New Hampshire (Route 650).  Small parking lots in Stonegate Park on Notley Road and Stonegate Swim Club at 220 Stonegate Drive.  Street parking on side streets (Centergate, Watergate, Redgate) where available.  Volunteers will be present to help guide you to safe parking.

OR ON NOTLEY NEAR THE SCHOOL.
